| Beautifully polished katana
by Yoshiyuki. Done in professional sashikomi style polish, all of
the swords characteristics show very clearly. True sashikomi polish
can only be done by expert level polishers, and the cost is higher
than a standard “Kesho” type of polish. He is originally
from Tosa , but then went to Osaka and entered the stable of Yamato
No Kami Yoshimichi. here he learned the style of the Yoshimichi School
that shows well in this sword. Brilliant Choji midare with lots of
ashi and yo. Jitetsu is a nice itame in perfect condition-no flaws.
This is a very beautiful sword and can be considered a very good example
from the Yoshimichi School. |
